Q: When will LFSMUN take place? A: The conference is planned to take place on Friday 18 November 2016.
Q: Who can attend LFSMUN? A: LFSMUN is open to all students enrolled in LFS from 5ème until Terminale. Students will be divided in brackets of 5ème-3ème (Group A), and 2nde-Terminale (Group B). Group A students will attend the Human Rights Council and the Economic and Social Council, while Group B students will attend the European Union, the Security Council, and the Ad Hoc Commission.
Q: What is the language of the conference? A: All conference proceedings will be conducted in English only.
Q: Is there a dress code? A: Yes there is. All students are expected to wear at least semi-professional business attire for the whole conference. Students in collège are exempted from this requirement, however we do ask them to keep respectful attire.
Q: Will participants be given official certificates of participation? A: Yes. These will be distributed after the conference.

Q: When is the registration deadline? A: The deadline to register for this conference will be Tuesday 23 February 2016. This is done so as to ensure adequate preparation, for both the delegates and the LFSMUN Executive Team. Registration for delegates, administrative and communications staff is now closed.
Conference Preparation
Q: I have never done MUN, what do I need to prepare? A: All delegates must arrive at the conference with at least one or two pre-written clauses and a working knowledge of procedure. Please see here for more details.
Q: Are there going to be any preparation sessions? A: Yes. A schedule will be circulated to all participants after the registration deadline giving more details. There will be a Phase A, where all participants will meet together so as to learn general information amongst themselves. Then we will move into Phase B, where participants will be divided into their committee groups to prepare more with research. Q: Is there another way for me to participate without being a delegate? A: Positions are open for administrative and communications staffers. Administrative staffers will be tasked to help run the conference smoothly, like passing notes and counting votes.
